The EL Skyport Transmitter Plus HS offers good quality, long range and reliability.
It also allows faster shutter speeds of up to 1/8000 of a second for Canon, provided it is connected to the TTL hot shoe. (TTL metering is not possible, however)

Synchronization mode:

  • Standard: Use via center contact of the hot shoe
  • HS: Hypersync up to 1/8000s, automatic
  • ODS (over drive sync): manual setting to optimize hypersync (up to 2 f-stops more power)
  • Second curtain sync: flash on the 2nd shutter curtain
