  • Carbon atative + ball head
  • 15 kg load capacity
  • robust
  • 171 cm with center column

Leofoto Ranger LS-324C carbon tripod with LH-40 ball head
A very sturdy tripod. Robust anyway, but in view of its strength - load capacity 15 kg - it is also very light (own weight 1,950 g). The ball head included in the set is also designed for a load capacity of 15 kg and weighs 540 g. This ideal combination of Ranger LS-324C tripod and LH-40 ball head is ideal for carrying large cameras with long Lens. The Ranger LS-324C is also "expandable". Thanks to its "Easylink" coupling, an optional accessory arm can be attached quickly and easily - to carry a separate monitor, for example. The tripod pack size is 580 mm, the maximum working height without the separately supplied center column and head is 1,400 mm. The set is supplied in a transport bag containing the tripod, ball head, screw-on center column, multi-tool and a set of stainless steel spikes.

Leofoto Ranger series - the ultra-light but extremely sturdy carbon tripods
Nature is practically the nature of the compact and lightweight Leofoto Ranger tripods. Every gram and every millimetre counts on days of photo stalking in order to minimize the volume and weight of your luggage. However, all pieces of equipment must not only save space and weight, but also meet very high requirements. Stability under all circumstances, that is the requirement. The material, carbon, ensures the required lightness. Its stability and freedom from vibration "grows" with the number of layers. Apart from the Traveler tripod series and the monopods, Leofoto tripods are made of ten-layer carbon. The deliberately modular design of all tripods in the Leofoto Ranger series - the center column is not built in, but only attached when required - makes it possible to limit luggage to the bare essentials.
With their small diameters, the head plates in the Ranger series are also part of the space-saving concept. And because they are CNC-milled from strong aircraft aluminum, they are an absolute perfect fit. The head plate screw has a 3/8" thread. The tripod legs - each consisting of three to five leg elements, depending on the model - glide smoothly and without twisting. They are held in place by rubberized twist locks that are easy to grip. Unwanted vibrations are absorbed by the rubber feet. If necessary, they can be replaced with the stainless steel spikes supplied or optional snow and sand feet.

Leofoto Ranger LS-324C carbon tripod - large, strong and very variable
All tripods in the Ranger series come with a center column, but this is not built in, but can be screwed on if required. This is an ideal solution if you only need to take the bare essentials with you when you are out and about. If you are not afraid of more luggage, pack the separate center column. It increases the working height of the Ranger LS-324C to up to 1,710 mm. However, the tripod can also be completely flat, in which case macro photographers in particular are in their element with the lowest possible working height of 170 mm. 32, 28, 25 and 22 (diameter in mm), these are the characteristics of the four segments of each tripod leg, which can be pulled apart or pushed together smoothly.

Leofoto LH-40 ball head - compact but enormously powerful
Precisely CNC-milled from black anodized aircraft aluminium, with built-in spirit level. Easy-grip knobs make it easy to adjust the friction smoothly but always precisely. A scale helps with control. A horizontal rotation of 360° is a matter of course and two appropriately dimensioned notches in the ball base allow the ball (40 mm diameter) to be tilted vertically by up to 90°. Weighing only 540 g, the Leofoto LH-40 ball head can handle a load of 15 kg. In view of this force, its height of 85 mm is nevertheless so low that the center of gravity is low and reduces unwanted vibrations. With 3/8" tripod thread. The built-in quick-release coupling also makes work easier; it comes with a QP-70 QR camera plate of the Arca-Swiss type.
