Sigma Protector
The protective filters were developed to protect the front lens element from dirt, dust and scratches. The completely colorless filter does not affect the color rendition and is therefore perfect for everyday use.

The filters are designed to prevent vignetting when used on Sigma Lens and avoid light fall-off towards the edges, especially the filters with the thin mount.

The super multi-layer coating (SML) reduces stray light and ghost images. In addition, the black-framed glass prevents unnecessary internal reflections and always ensures maximum performance, both in conjunction with digital and analog cameras.

Thanks to the use of a thinner filter mount (except for 86mm, 95mm and 105mm), vignetting is avoided even at ultra-wide angles, making the filters suitable for all types of Lens. Despite the thin design, a front cap can be attached as the edge of the mount has a thread.

Hands on the new Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS S

Sigma's 70-200 f/2.8 is a strong competitor to lenses from Sony and Panasonic. The attractive price of €1,699 RRP makes the Sigma a worthwhile alternative, especially in comparison to the 70-200 2.8 from Panasonic and Sony's new G-Master, which is significantly more expensive.
