This walimex Boom Roll Tripod can be used for many professional applications in the film and photo sector and is an indispensable aid in many cases. From bottom to top, this article shines with quality and professionalism. The 3 tripod legs with a footprint of 94 cm in diameter have 3 high-quality solid rubber tripod castors (80 mm) with brakes. This means that the boom can be quickly and easily protected against unintentional rolling away or repositioned in a matter of seconds. The height of this boom stand can be adjusted from 130 cm to approx. 390 cm. The telescopic boom arm can be extended in length from 115 to 215 cm or simply lowered into the center column of the tripod. This means that this boom stand can also be used as an ordinary lamp stand. If the tripod is not needed, it can be folded up to very compact dimensions thanks to the foldable tripod legs.
Boom with extremely sturdy metal bracket
The boom arm is mounted on an extremely sturdy metal bracket, which allows you to adjust the tilt and rotation smoothly and flexibly. Thanks to the generously dimensioned locking levers and locks, this rolling boom stand can be swiveled 360° and adjusted 180° in height. A mounting adapter with 5/8 inch spigot (16 mm spigot) with 3/8 and 1/4 inch threaded connection is available for convenient and practical mounting of your equipment. The mounting adapter is removable and can be attached to the front as well as to the right or left side. This allows you to mount and align your equipment such as flash heads, studio and system flashes, LED lights, daylights, softboxes, reflectors, backgrounds and much more in no time at all. The boom stand can be loaded with 6 to 3 kg, depending on the extension length of the boom. Of course, you can also use this tripod as a standard lamp stand. When used in this way, the tripod can support loads of up to 8 kg and offers a height adjustment range of 130 to 390 cm. The weighting bag included as standard in the scope of delivery can be attached to the end of the telescopic arm or the 4.4 kg counterweight included as standard in this set can be screwed on.
